“The point of being a teacher is not to give you the answers to your questions but to make you want to ask questions.”
David Greene of Archigram
We greatly value the many facets of education. From the designing of a curriculum to the wonderful moments when we learn from students. From sharing ideas liberally to having them critiqued. From discovering the passion of each student to developing a strong peer learning culture within the classroom and understanding its influence on the greater community outside the academy.
Over the last five years we have had the pleasure of teaching wonderful groups of highly curious students across Architecture, Film, Landscape Architecture and Interior Design programs at a number of schools internationally. The students include Post Graduate and Undergrad students from schools such as Columbia University and Parsons School of Design in New York, RMIT University and Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia, the TU Innsbruck in Austria and non profit community organisations like Open Channel, Melbourne.
The works included here are from various courses that we have designed and taught and describe the breadth of ideas that have been explored. The courses overlap with the studios' research interests and explore the topic of digital representation technically, historically and emotionally.
